Artificial Intelligence: A Bright Future

Artificial intelligence (AI) allows machines to learn from their experiences, adapt to new inputs, and perform tasks similar to those of humans. Most of the examples of artificial intelligence you hear about today – from robots playing chess to automatic cars – depend heavily on deep learning and natural language processing. Using these technologies, computers can be trained to perform specific tasks by processing large amounts of data and recognizing the characteristics of the data.

Why AI is so important?

  • Automates repetitive learning

Artificial intelligence mechanizes monotonous learning and innovation using data. But AI is altered from hardware-based robotic mechanization. Instead of automating manual tasks, the AI performs frequent, large and reliable computer tasks without fatigue. For this type of automation, human research is always essential to configure the system and ask the right questions.

  • Accuracy

Artificial intelligence achieves incredible accuracy thanks to deep neural networks – which was previously impossible. For example, your interactions with Alexa, Google Search, and Google Photos all rely on deep learning – and the more they become clearer, the more we use them. In the medical field, artificial intelligence techniques from deep learning, image classification and object recognition can now be used to detect cancer on MRIs with the same precision as high-level radiologists.

  • Increases Intelligence

AI adds intelligence to existing products. In most cases, the AI will not be sold as an individual app. Instead, the products you already use will be enhanced with artificial intelligence capabilities, much like Siri has been added as a feature to a new generation of Apple products. Automation, conversation platforms, robots and smart machines can be combined with vast amounts of data to improve many technologies at home and in the workplace, from security intelligence to analytics.

How AI affect our daily life?

Although much of this technology is still rather rudimentary, we can expect sophisticated AI to have a significant impact on our daily lives.  Here are the ways the AI could affect us in the future:

  • Modern Transport

We are already seeing the beginnings of autonomous cars, although vehicles are currently required to have a driver behind the wheel for safety reasons. Despite these exciting developments, the technology is not yet perfect and acceptance by the public will take some time to generalize the use of automated cars. Various modes of transportation are closer to full automation, such as buses and trains. Also, it is being said by the technologist that most of the cars will be handled by the robots in upcoming decade.

  • Taking over hazardous employments

Robots already support some of the most dangerous work, including defusing bombs. These robots are not quite robots yet, according to the BBC. Technically, they are drones, used as a physical counterpart to defuse bombs, but requiring human control, rather than using AI. Regardless of their classification, they have saved thousands of lives by taking one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. As technology improves, we will likely see increased integration of AI to help these machines function. Other work is also being reconsidered for robot integration. Welding, well known for the production of toxic substances, intense heat and ripping noise, can now be subcontracted to robots in most cases. Robotic welding cells are already in use and that safety devices are in place to help prevent fumes and injuries to workers.

  • Resolving climate Issue

Resolving climate change may seem like a daunting task for a robot, but as Stuart Russell explains, machines have more access to data than anyone has ever been able to, which means a lot of amazing statistics. With the help of big data, AI could one day identify trends and use this information to find solutions to the world’s biggest problems.
